And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. (Exodus 14:21-4)

Did this miraculous event take place at the Red Sea?

After years of study Ron Wyatt located ancient Succoth. Realizing from the Hebrew's encampment there that the only southern route to avoid the Philistines was through a series of wadis to the western edge of a coastal mountain range on the west side of the Gulf of Aqaba. Following the Biblical narrative that God told Moses to turn back and encamp by the Sea. Only one place fit the description of the Hebrews entrapment by sea and mountains; Nuweiba beach. In 1978 diving in the waters off Nuweiba, Ron and his sons found coral encrusted chariot parts, skeletal remains and a pillar laying in the water's edge. A matching pillar was later found on the Saudi side with inscriptions indicating it's being erected by Solomon to commemorate the site of the miraculous crossing.

I find it interesting how accurate the Bible depicts what we find in these archaeological discoveries. Gods word (the Bible) clearly reveals the truth when compared to archaeology, but God always gives the unbeliever a way out. You could sum it up as coincidence or chance. You could though, except the facts as they stand and trust the God of the Bible our creator. There are many discoveries I did not mention in this article from Noah's Ark to the Dead Sea Scrolls, which I would challenge you to study out for yourself. "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him." (Proverbs 30:5) I hope this evidence encourages you continue your journey to the truth.

Why Trust The Bible? Archaeological Evidence Of The Bible

Archaeology is the study of ancient things. Archaeology is essential to understanding the past. When studying the Bible from a geographical and historical perspective one would expect to find much archaeological evidence to validate its words. Unlike the majority of other religious writings, which have no real geographic or archaeological evidence, the Old and New Testament have been verified by archaeology. The geographic locations mentioned in the Bible, many which are still occupied today, can be visited by anyone at anytime. We could visit the Red Sea which God divided, sail the Sea of Galilee, walk the streets of Jerusalem, or travel to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. Understand the Bible plainly reveals reality in its words not mythology. In the next few article I would like to reveal some of the most astounding archaeological discoveries, which validated the Bible.
The Walls of Jericho
Jericho was excavated by four different teams. Charles Warren (1868), Ernest Sellin (1907-1911) John Garstang (1929-1936) and Miss Kathleen Kenyon (1952-1958).
Jericho Heavily Fortified
The Bible reveals that Jericho was a large city heavily fortified with large walls. Deut. 9:1 says, “Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven.” Kenyon, Sellin, and Garstang’s individual excavations of Jericho revealed this fortification. Garstang quoted, “There were two thirty-foot high walls that run nearly parallel, circling the summit of the mount. According to Sellin at the base of the mount was a 12 ft. natural retaining wall. On top of this natural retaining wall was a mud brick wall 20- 25ft tall 6ft thick. Six acres up the mount to the crest of the mount stood another wall which would have towered 46ft above the ground level outside the retaining wall. This would have been very intimidating to the Israelites as they marched around the city.



The Fallen Walls
Joshua 6:20 says “So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” This chapter of Joshua gives the account of what happened to the city. The Bible tells us that the Israelites were to march around the city for six days and on the seventh day encompass the city wall seven times. Then the priests should blow their horns and the people should shout and the walls will fall down. Is their Biblical evidence of this ever happening?
According to Kenyon large piles of bricks were found at the bottom of the retaining wall. Kenyon quoted, “fallen red brick piling nearly to the top of the revetment. These probably came from the walls on the summit of the bank… the brickwork above the revetment.” (Kenyon 1981:110) This would have given the Israelites a entry point, where the brick would have formed a ramp like structure to the top of the 12 ft retaining wall. This was also verified by other archaeologists. The Bible is clear in Joshua 6:20 “…so that the people went up into the city…” They had to travel up. Archaeology once again affirms the detailed scripture found in the Bible.
Destruction By Fire
Joshua 6:21, 24 says, “And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city,…And they burnt the city with fire.” The Bible tells us that the city was to be burned. Does the evidence reveal a great torching of the city? Archaeologist found layers of ash and burnt debris 3ft thick all around the city. Kenyon verified this in her findings quoting, “The destruction of the city was complete, walls and floors were blackened or reddened by fire, every room was filled with fallen bricks, timbers and household utensils; in most rooms the fallen debris was heavily burnt, but the collapse of the walls of the eastern rooms seems to have taken place before they were affected by the fire. (Kenyon 1981:370). Both Garstang and Kenyon found remnants of jars full of grain and bin of food, even brick oven with bread ready to be cooked inside. This indicated a sudden destruction of the city, which would normally take months or years of battle to over throw. Grain was a great commodity of the times. This grain would have been used for food and bartering. This would have been looted by the besiegers because of its value, but we find in the Bible that God commanded them to only take the silver, gold, vessels of brass and iron. This reflects exactly the evidence unearth in the Jericho excavation site..
The Biblical evidence found in Jericho is very convincing. God always take us to the edge in our search for the truth, but it is ultimately up to you to trust in him by faith. Why Trust The Bible? Evidence For Faith

Modern Science and skeptics of the bible have branded Christian faith as a leap in the dark, a blind chance. But is there any bases for true biblical faith? The fact is that God has given us very real and tangible evidence in his word. This is evidence that we can lay hold on. Romans 10:17 says, “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” God has delivered to us his word as evidence to establish our faith. Evidence that even the most adamant skeptic can not ignore. God has issued a challenge to mankind. Isaiah 1:18 says, “ Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD…” God wants us to give him a chance, examine the fact, and discover the truth for ourselves. God has extended the challenge, the question is will you take it. I hope that evidence will convinced you but if not you should remain unconvinced. Why Trust The Bible?

All throughout history we have had many people cast doubt on the bible and the great God that inspired it. Many have called God a liar, twisting and contorting his words and actions without really understanding the biblical circumstance. This criticism is often to further their own agenda. In light of this slander and persecution of God those trusting in him must be steadfast. People must understand that the bible has been preached for thousand of years. The book of Genesis dating as early as 1450 B.C., and its stories dating as far back as 6000 B.C. contest to its age. The Bible is not a fairy tale. It is a truth that people have found strength in for thousands of years. Matthew 24:35 say’s “heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” The 40 penmen of the Bible where truly convinced that God was delivering to his creation a urgent message. 2 Peter 1:21 says, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” Most all of these holy men eventually died for their faith. We must understand that the Bible is not a new thing, it is though, a compilation of 66 books penned by 40 different men over thousands of years. This Holy book has stood the test of “time”. God word is something we can rely on no matter the circumstance. We must not allow people, no matter who they may be, to lure us away from Gods true purpose and the truth found in his word. 1 Corinthians 3:19 says, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God…” Humanity must repent, turn away from the wisdom of this world, and realize that the God of this world will not be mocked. Galatians 6:7 says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” In this life we are posed with all sorts if choices, some choices have greater repercussions than others, but none greater than this. When we say no to God we are saying that we can take care of ourselves, that we don’t need God, but the reality is that we all need God. The Bible says “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Just like food sustains our physical life, God and his truth sustains our eternal soul. We can not live without God. Listen, this is God’s creation and he can do what he wants with it. Thankfully he chose to sustain it and save it. It is our responsibility to find out who God is and what he want with our life. Understand that disobedience is sin and God will not tolerate sin. Remember, the choice is yours! The title of this article is Why Should I Trust The God Of The Bible. I hope to write a series of article that reveal the divine truth found in the Bible. In these articles I will expose the Logical, archaeological, historical, scientific, and prophetic evidence revealed to us. True biblical Christianity is not a leap of faith. God has given us very real and tangible reason to trust him. How To Debate The Evolutionist

In today's society many find themselves at a cross roads. In many of our minds we find ourselves wrestling over this debate of intelligent design or evolution. At the outset lets me first explain each of these points. Intelligent design reveals to us that their is a supreme being who created time, space, and matter. This creator made it fully functional from the smallest particles to the vast universe. This is referred to as the creationist world view. Now the evolutionist believes something totally different. The theory of evolution teaches that there is no supreme power, but that all things came together by random chance. The catalyst is natural selection (survival of the fittest) and random mutations within a organism. This is called the humanist world view. This brief overview help us to see the vast difference between the to beliefs. Often times people are very closed minded about these issues. As Christians we must approach these issues with a loving heart. Today modern science has chosen to adopt the humanist world view. (Read Humanist Manifesto) Influenced by modern science our school systems have began indoctrinating our children. It is our responsibility as parents to understand the subject so we can clearly and concisely teach our children the truth. As you begin to study evolution you will see that their are many holes and great assumptions that are made. Here are some tips when debating these topics.

When discussing evolution you must first define the terms. The word evolution is a tricky word which carries at least six different meanings. It is important to understand what they mean when they discuss evolution.

1) Cosmic Evolution- This is the origin of time, space, and matter. The humanist wants you to believe a big bang created everything (Big Bang Theory). Please understand that they truly believe that nothing exploded and created everything. How can nothing explode. This is not science. This is what someone believes not what they know. 2) Chemical Evolution- This is the origin of higher elements from hydrogen. The Big Bang only explains the origin of hydrogen and maybe a little helium. 3) Stellar and Planetary Evolution- No one has ever seen a planet form and organize itself into an orbit, nor has anyone ever seen a star form. They can observe a star exploding about every 30 years or so, but they never observe one forming. They estimate that their are
70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in our galaxy. If the universe is 20 billion years old it would take 6 1/2 million star forming every minute to create what we see today. 4) Organic Evolution- This is the origin of life. Science teaches that the earth formed about 4.6 billion years ago. Torrential rains began to fall creating a primordial soup. Out of this primordial "soup" life formed about 3.5 billion years ago. The problem is that science has never observed non-living material produce living material. To make this even more unbelievable is this non-living material now living had to find food for energy and a mate to reproduce. Food for thought, if science was ever able to create life it would only prove that it take intelligences to create not chance.

5)Macro-Evolution- This is the process by which one organism changes into a completely different organism. This is believed to have occurred over billions of years through tiny mutations within the organism. Yet mutations are rarely, if ever, beneficial to the organism. A eye without a Cornea does not work properly. A bird with one wing can't fly and will most likely die. I could go on and on. Mutations can not explain evolution. Science has yet to discover a "missing link" or transitional species. This has posed a big problem for the evolutionist. They have produced many frauds and fakes which still find their way into the textbooks. Concerning the so called cavemen you must understand that all that is found is the fossilized bone the rest is purely the work of the artist. If the princess kisses the frog and it turns into a prince instantly its called a fairy tale, but if it happens over billions of years we can some how wrap our minds around it and except it. Listen Macro-Evolution has never been observed. It can only truly be excepted by faith.

6) Micro-Evolution- This is variations within a organism. This is observable science. I think we can all agree that their are many different kinds of dogs out there, but dogs only reproduce dogs never cats. Science would have us believe Macro-Evolution is Micro-Evolution over a long period of time. What we must understand is that all variations have limitations. Farmers can breed bigger or smaller horses, but they always get a horse. Many bug may become resistant to pesticides, but never to the heel of a shoe. Notice that the first five meanings of evolution are purely religious. Religion is defined as the belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers [evolution] regarded as creator and governor of the universe. I am not against science. I love science. Although I did not complete my degree I studied science for three years in collage. What I don't like is the false information and lies that continue to bombard our children in the public schools. Science is defined as the systematized knowledge derived from observation and study etc. Evolution is not science. It can not be tested or observed. Science will claim to be self correcting and ever changing. My question is when will it correct the greatest blunder in scientific history the Evolutionary Theory.

IS BARACK OBAMA THE ANTI-CHRIST?

In recent times many questions have been raised about Barack Obama. Though he is in many way a stranger to us all, he seem to gather the support of many people. I would advise voter to be very cautious when voting for someone they are not sure about. Obama's change may not be the best answer for America in these difficult times. Now, could Barach Obama be the anti-christ. Though he may carry many of the traits of this prophetic character he does not meet the requirements for the anti-christ. Daniel 11:17 says speaking of the anti-christ "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all." We find here in this verse that the anti-christ could very well be a man of Jewish decent. As far as I know Obama is not a Jew. We also see that he has no desire of women. I do not know if this verse is referring to homosexuality or that he is to busy with the affairs of this world to pursue a relationship, but we do know that Obama is not a homosexual (though he does support their alternate lifestyle) and does have a desire for women hence his marriage to Michelle Obama. We also find that even in his confused theology he still regards a god, maybe not the God (what I mean is the only one true God), so, even if he is a Muslim or a very confused christian (which is hard to imagine) he still seems to acknowledge some form of god. As you can see, though Obama does speak marvellous thing making promises that he can not and will not be able to keep, he still misses the marks required for the true anti-christ according to the book of Daniel. I would like to note that for the true christian, those that have believed upon Jesus Christ, they do not have to worry about the anti-christ. According to 2 Thessalonians 2:7,8 the Holy Spirit which is restraining the anti-christ will "be taken out of the way" which will also include the removal of the church in the rapture and "then shall that Wicked be revealed" (speaking of the anti-christ). But, for those that are concerned in these "latter day" I would keep an eye on the reviving Roman Empire or what is know known as the Europe Union it could be this final gentile kingdom prophesied about in Daniel chapter 2 and 7. I pray that we keep our eyes on The Real Hope of the world the Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Its Time To Open Our Eyes

Our goal as Christians in the church age is to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to show people the need for a savior. Our fear is that so many people are so caught up in today’s society that they for get to ask themselves the important questions of life. Who am I? What is my purpose? Where am I from? Why am I here? Where will I go when I die? These questions must not be ignored. When we consider these questions it tends to make us uncomfortable, because we have to consider life and its meaning. When we consider who we are it tends to stir our emotions. Often taking many to place they do not want to go. Because who we are links us to, where we came from, what our purpose is, and ultimately where we will spend eternity. For many people these are feared thought which quit frankly should be. But the fear, in turn, scares many of us the wrong way. Instead of find out the truth we tend to run away from it, boxing ourselves into a busy and exhausting life. When we sincerely take a deep look at our lives and our purpose we have to step out of the box we have built around us. We have to examine the deeper meanings of life. These thoughts will take us on a spiritual journey. We must realize the importants of this life! We need to understand that we only get to live life once so we better get it right. We can not stop death. Ecclesiastes 8:8 says, “There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death.” I hope that this article will help you find the right spiritual path because there really is only one. It is your great responsibility, yes you have to take the initiative, to find the right purpose and path for your life. Yes it’s true, you can ignore the truth, but that does not solve the problem. I can choose not to go to work but that does not change the fact that my family and I have to eat. In just the same way ignore the great questions of life will not change the fact that they must be answered. My hope is that the fear of the unknown will lead you down the right path.

As we consider life let us first consider something beyond our comprehension our universe. When we look at our universe and its order we have to accept the fact that there is great intelligent design. Psalms 19:1 says “The heavens declare the glory of God…..” One glimpse at our universe helps us to understand this verse. But if there is intelligent design their must be an intelligent designer. Many people have been mislead by modern science which has chosen to ignore the fact that thing can not and do not create themselves. Those who have believe it all happened by chance have truly taken a great leap of faith. The Bible says in Genesis 1:1 a familiar verse to many “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." When we look at our Earth, our solar system, our galaxy and then the entire universe and consider psalms 19:1 and Genesis 1:1, we can conclude that God must be extraordinary. Our earth is so finely tuned that if it spins any faster we will all be lost in space, or if the moon was any closer the tides would drowned us. When we come to this conclusion, that a mighty God created this universe and everything in it, then it is our responsibility to seek out what God want from us and do it. Genesis 1:3 says “And God said let there be…" this verse gives us a glimpse of the shear magnitude of his infinite power. He simple spoke our world into existence. Actually the word universe means single spoken sentence. “uni” meaning single and “verse” meaning spoken sentence. Now if God can create with such divine strength and power could he not also deliverer his creation with a book about what he has done, is doing, and will do in the future. Even the most sincere skeptic would have to agree. When we refer to the Bible were not just talking about an ordinary book. The Bible is a compilation of 66 books written over a period of several thousands years. It was penned by over 40 different authors yet each of the books are in perfect harmony. The Bible is not a mere story or a figment of ones imagination, but its perfection and unison reveals something greater. One must then conclude that the author is the very God that the Bible refers too. 2 Peter 1:21 says "For the prophecy came not in old times by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." What God has delivered us is more than a book, but a collection of God thought and feelings, Gods Purpose and Plan, spoken through his messengers. Essentially it is a manual for us to live by which produces a life of joy and peace. Not to say, that the Christian will not endure hard times, hard times are a reality for us all, but that they will seem trivial in comparison to our eternality. 2 Timothy 3:16 say “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in all righteousness." The word inspired means God breathed. God literally spoke through his prophets and messengers. What God offers to the willing is to teaches us structured thinking, to rebuking sin in our lives, to keeping us from error, and instruct or guiding us in righteous living. He goes on in verse 17 saying, “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” He will equip us. Not only that but he will mature us in such a way that we will desire to fulfill those good works in our lives. So many skeptic have challenged the validity of God word recently and in times past. But God says in Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, saith the lord…..” God says before you judge me consider what I have to say. If you will take the time to consider God word you will find that the skeptic fall short in their reasoning process. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God……… rightly dividing the word of God.” God takes our brain serious and ask us to study. God says, take my word, my Bible, and find out for yourself if I am the Almighty God, The Creator. Too many people today have painted God as a kind of mythical creature in a far away land. My job as a servant of God is to show you the reality of God. My desired is to show you his very real presents in our world and that he is the only true God.
